Forms
and Busts

Home

The human form is an amazing thing.  The curves, the movement, the diversities in our bodies is something to behold.
Being a dancer I love to watch the body in motion and began to paint women and men in abstract forms and colors.  Quite by accident I began to play with shaping the body using various mannequins and art materials.  The result is a collection of female and male forms that explode with color, texture, movement and beauty.   Some are formed around mannequins with plaster cast and others are existing torsos embellished with various materials including acrylic paint, velvet, various fabrics, seashells, decorative papers, flowers and whatever that form needs to have it come alive.
The plaster forms are light enough to hang on the wall or suspended from the ceiling and the busts make fabulous center pieces on a table or a unique conversation piece.  The busts can also be attached to mannequin stands if you have no table space to put yours on. They are coated with an acrylic medium making them durable enough to be in a bathroom or other steamy room such as spa but are not meant to be in direct water exposure.
More forms and busts will be added to this site as they are created.  Please check back frequently to view the new Goddesses and their playmates!!   There will be men forms joining the Goddesses soon and also forms made to withstand being outside in the elements.  Some of the pieces are available for rental for special occasions such as weddings, fashion shows or for store window displays.
