Professional Landscaping and Gardening Services in Port Angeles and Sequim
Brought to you by me... Jennifer Turner... The Goddess in the Garden! I have been Gardening all my life and its a passion of mine to create and maintain beautiful landscapes!
My mother is an a big time gardener and she always has had a green thumb, even when we lived aboard on Lake Washington we had a floating garden. I definitely got my green thumb from my mother!
I have a Vocational Forestry Degree and an Associates in Arts direct transfer degree, with an extra 80 credits related to biology and ecology. I worked as a Wild land fire fighter for a few years before my son came along. I missed the hard work and so I went into business for myself tending gardens and landscapes.
My goal and vision is to work with nature. Use sustainable practices and preserve soil health.
I have also over 3,000 hours as a Landscape Laborer in the local 242 Laborers Union in Seattle.
I worked in Seattle Housing Authority, I installed landscaping of entire neighborhoods and maintained them too! I moved to the Peninsula in 2009 to attend Peninsula College and I also worked there as a Landscaper for over a year.
I also worked in the Peninsula College's Biology department as an Instructional Assistant for over 2 years. I cared for the plants and animals in the Biology Lab. Set up and broke down Labs for microbiology, botany, anatomy and physiology.
